6 Ingredients
- 4 oranges, peeled and sectioned
- 4 tbs sugar
- 1/2 C water
- 3/4 C claret wine
|
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 3-inch stick cinnamon
- 1 tbs fresh lemon juice
|
Directions
- Place
orange sections in a bowl. Set aside.
- In a
saucepan over medium-high heat, combine remaining ingredients.
- Bring to
a boil and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over orange sections.
- Cool
slightly, cover and refrigerate about 4 hours or overnight.
- Remove
whole spices and serve cold.
